Larry Flynt is something of big name in the adult film industry. And shortly after Sarah Palin's rise to prominence, he placed an advertisement in Craiglist seeking a lookalike for her. The selected actress would be paid $3,000 for her efforts.
Flynt confirms the pornographic film incorporating Palin's likeness is complete but has not confirmed a title or release date at this point.
That hasn't stopped the blogosphere from speculating on titillating titles. Some of the most popular suggestions are: "Northern XXXposure" and "Riding Pipeline".
Palin's ratings have improved following her commendable showing in the recent vice-presidential debate. But this is probably the kind of exposure that does not interest her. Her team has refused to comment on the issue.
