Al Maliki vows to protect Iraq Christians
Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki stressed that Christians are a component of the Iraqi people and enjoy the same rights. In a meeting with French Ambassador to Baghdad Jean François, Al Maliki affirmed that the government will help all displaced Christians return home and protect them. For his part, the French Ambassador renewed Paris and the European Union support to the Iraqi Government in its efforts to ascertain security and restore stability in the country mainly its application to protect Christians and help them return home.
