"How do you measure a blonde's intelligence? Stick a tyre gauge in her ear!"

Jokes like these printed on a leaflet advertising his store and Christmas offers got Bob Singh into a lot of trouble!

The jovial shopkeeper was stunned when cops turned up at his shop and issued him a warning.

He was forced to withdraw the flyers and post an apology on his shop.

Mr. Singh said:

He said: "I couldn't believe my ears. I thought they were joking - but they were deadly serious.

"This proves the world has gone completely crazy. Why are the police getting involved in something like this?"

He added, "In future we will try to be more politically correct."

The official police statement is this:

"The content of promotional material has been brought to our attention as being potentially inflammatory and offensive.

"The distributor has been appropriately advised and instructed to withdraw the leaflets."

Wait a minute! I think I know what all of this is really about! It's quite obvious why they would be after a shoe keeper. Come on now! These "cops" weren't really cops, they were US secret service! They wanted to test him to see if he would throw a shoe at them. Luckily he didn't, or else he would be in custody right now. You can't blame them tough. These days, shoe throwers are a serious threat. We don't want any more shoe attacks!
