Gretchen Rossi knows how to boost her ratings. In a recent report Gretchen Rossi talks about her vibrator photos that are surfacing on the Internet. According to Tamra Barney, a fellow housewife on the show, “there’s a picture of her (Gretchen Rossi) with a vibrator laying on a bed with a cord. I’m like, ‘Holy Mother of Gynecology! Who has a vibrator with a cord?”"

As a result of the nude photos of Gretchen Rossi, the present season of “Real Housewives of Orange County” is receiving a large amount of viewership. In the pictures Gretchen is lying on a bed holding a vibrator. Some pictures features her topless in a car and if that’s not enough shows naked pictures of her sitting on the toilet.

Gretchen is expected to talks about the vibrator photos in a new episode of Real Housewives.

Charges: Two first-degree-murders

Patel, of the 1800 block of Harvest Lane in Glendale Heights, is accused of dousing his sons, Vishv, 7, and Om, 4, with gasoline and setting them on fire in a bathroom of their home on Nov. 18, 2007. Om died of his injuries in January, 2008 and Vishv died in February after both lingered for months in a Maywood hospital burn unit.

Patel also suffered serious burns in the fire and has heavy scars on his right hand.

Patel, a native of India who immigrated to the U.S. in 1992, contends that he was trying to commit suicide and that his sons' injuries and deaths were accidental. In a Tribune interview, he said he doesn't remember lighting the fire.

Surfer takes on 41-foot monster wave and lives to tell the tale

Kerby Brown, a daredevil surfer, is pictured riding a monster 41 foot wave. He took on the wave and nearly didn't live to tell the tale. He suffered a devasting wipeout which nearly killed him.

He said: 'Usually the wave never steps out or goes evil like that one, but it just went dry - the hardest wave I've ever had to surf. 'I went straight over the lip and did about 10 backflips and then pulled a muscle in my shoulder. 'It felt like I ripped my arm out of its socket, my leggie snapped and then I felt like I was the deepest I'd ever been.'

The unbelievable pictures have been entered into the prestigious Oakley Surfing Life Big Wave Awards, which rewards the riders of the biggest waves in Australasian waters.

Matt Drudge went mad yesterday with this massive headline (see image above). Reading between the tea leaves he was either talking about endorsements or who the media outlets are assuming will be the winner. I know in the past both Reuters and AP have not endorsed a candidate before. Maybe this will change too--hopefully not. I guess he is probably saying everyone is picking Obama as the winner--maybe they are all wrong or maybe he just got drunk when he wrote the headline...

Tiger Cub for Putin's 56th Birthday

This year's favorite 56th birthday gift for Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, is an Ussuri tiger cub. Russian state TV showed the two-month-old female cub. The tiger weighs around 20lbs and sleeps at Putin's residence. The tiger is yet to be named. Putin is leaning towards Mashenka or Milashka.

State television showed the Russian prime minister affectionately petting the two-month-old female cub on Friday. The tiger weighs only about 20 pounds and sleeps in a wicker basket at Putin's residence outside Moscow.
Putin plans to find a real home for the tiger, which will most likely be the wildlife preserve or the zoo.

The Ussuri tiger is also known as the Siberian, Amur or Manchurian tiger-fewer than 400 are believed to survive in the wild.

The European Space Agency is about to launch the most sophisticated mission ever to investigate the Earth's gravitational field and to map the reference shape of our planet - the geoid - with unprecedented resolution and accuracy.

The Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer (GOCE) will be placed onto a low altitude near sun-synchronous orbit by a Russian Rockot vehicle launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Northern Russia, some 800 km north of Moscow. Lift-off is scheduled to take place at 16:21 CEST (14:21 UTC) on Wednesday 10 September. The launcher is operated by Eurockot Launch Services, a joint venture between EADS Astrium and the Khrunichev Space Centre (Russia).

It is amazing what can be spotted on Google Earth as you toggle to Google Street View. Here is guy passed out after too many drinks somewhere in his neighborhood. What is interesting about this story is that this "drunk Aussie was shaken awake by police" and he was hoping that none of his neighbors had seen him collapsed on the curb. Unfortunately that was not the case. The whole world was watching on Google Street View...

Vampire bats kill 38 Warao tribespeople in Venezuela

In Venezuela, 38 tribe's people including children have died as a result of attacks by vampire bats. The exact cause has not been determined yet but most are certain it was rabies carried by the bats. Most likely logging, mining or damming projects nearby disturbed these bats and were forced to find new prey.

Vampire bats survive on a purely liquid diet. They hunt mostly when it is fully dark and approach their prey on foot-biting their victim then sucking up the blood. Their saliva contains draculin, which prevents the blood from clotting.

The case was brought to light by two researchers from the University of California at Berkeley-Charles Briggs and Clara Martini-Brigss. They said that victims' symptoms included fever, body pains and tingling in the feet followed by progressive paralysis and an extreme fear of water. The victims also suffered convulsions and grew rigid before death.
